About
Ph.D student in history currently researching a dissertation on the trade in medicinal drugs in the Portuguese and British empires, c. 1640-1750. I'm interested in the history of science and medicine, Anglo-Portuguese relations, early modern environmental history and the ways that indigenous societies have become integrated into the global economy, particularly in respect to botanical knowledge.
